What Fint is

GST invoicing and bookkeeping software that keeps a person in charge of every figure.

Fint covers the daily money work of an Indian business. Its AI agent proposes records; nothing counts until a person confirms them in the Inbox.

Read more about What Fint is

Fint is the accounting product we build and run at CyberFreezeDev. It covers the daily money work of an Indian business: raising GST invoices and proforma quotes, capturing expenses from bills, matching bank lines to the invoices they paid, and producing the GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries your accountant files from. Fint is live and in free beta: we onboard businesses through a guided demo and are still adding to it.

The idea behind it is simple. Most of the typing in bookkeeping is reading a document and copying it into a form: a supplier bill, a bank statement line, a row in a spreadsheet. An AI model is good at that reading. It is not something you want deciding what goes into your books. So in Fint the AI agent proposes records and a person confirms them in the Inbox. A proposal sits in no balance, no report and no return until someone presses confirm.

If you want this kind of automation built around your own systems instead, see our GST and accounting automation and OCR and document intelligence services, and how we work with accounting and CA firms.

Who it is for

Indian small and mid-size businesses

Invoices, bills and bank lines in one place, so the CA handover is a link.

Read more about Indian small and mid-size businesses

Owners and office managers who raise GST invoices, pay suppliers from one or two bank accounts and hand the month over to a CA. Fint keeps invoices, bills and bank lines in one place so the handover is a link, not a folder of PDFs.

CA firms and practising accountants

Several sets of books in one login, with each client's receivables, queries and filing status listed.

One login can hold several sets of books. The client list shows each business with its receivables, overdue amounts, open queries and whether the period has been filed, so you can see which client needs attention first. More on multi-book access for CA firms.

In-house finance teams

Review checks before filing and an audit trail of who confirmed what.

Teams that want review checks before filing (missing HSN codes, GSTIN problems, gaps in invoice numbering, suspected duplicates) and an audit trail of who confirmed what.

How it works day to day

Fig. 01 Overhead: fields read off the page fill rows on the record card
  1. 01 Work arrives

A sale to invoice, a photographed bill, a bank line or a sheet of old invoices.

    Read more about Work arrives

A sales invoice to raise, a supplier bill photographed on a phone, a bank line that has landed, a sheet of old invoices from the system you used before.

  2. 02 The AI agent drafts, or you type

Type records yourself, or let an AI assistant read the bill and propose one.

Read more about The AI agent drafts, or you type

You can enter records yourself as in any accounting app. Or an AI assistant connected to Fint reads the bill or sheet and proposes the record. Before it drafts an expense it checks whether that money is already recorded, so a bill gets attached to the existing bank row instead of being entered twice.

  3. 03 A person confirms in the Inbox

Each proposal carries the agent's note. You confirm, edit or reject it.

Read more about A person confirms in the Inbox

Each proposal shows up in the Fint Inbox with a note from the agent beside it: which sheet row it came from, which part of the bill was unreadable, why it chose that category. You confirm, edit or reject. Only then does it count.

  4. 04 Review before filing

Run review checks, raise queries, read the return summaries, then lock the filed period.

Read more about Review before filing

Run the review checks for the period, raise queries to the client on specific records, then read the GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries. Once a period is filed it is locked, so nothing dated inside it changes unless a person reopens it.

What the AI agent can and cannot do

Fig. 02 Agents handing work to each other through an orchestrator

The agent reads and proposes within a person's permissions. It cannot send, void, record payments, confirm its own drafts or change tax rates.

Read more about What the AI agent can and cannot do

The agent works through the same permissions a person has, and its limits are fixed in the product rather than left to a prompt.

  • It can read everything its role allows: ledgers, bank lines, receivables, returns.
  • It can propose expenses, deposits without an invoice, draft invoices, customers, vendors, catalogue items, batches of spreadsheet rows, and corrections to a recorded row that is wrong.
  • It can file records under projects and tags, attach a receipt, raise and answer review queries, and revise the working copy of a quote.
  • It cannot send a document to a customer, void or delete one, record a payment, confirm its own draft, change an amount on an invoice or return, lock a period or change a tax rate. Those stay with a person in Fint.

How a demo works

  1. 01 Request a demo

Say whether you are a business, CA firm or finance team, and how many books.

Read more about Request a demo

Use the contact form and tell us whether you are a business, a CA firm or a finance team, and roughly how many sets of books you look after.

  2. 02 A walkthrough with an engineer

A demo book with sample data: invoicing, an AI draft in the Inbox, bank matching, GST summaries.

Read more about A walkthrough with an engineer

We show Fint on a demo book with sample data, not your live accounts: raising an invoice, an AI-drafted expense landing in the Inbox, bank matching and the GST summaries.

  3. 03 Bring a real question

Bring a monthly task, like a bank reconciliation. We show it in Fint, gaps included.

Read more about Bring a real question

The most useful demos start from something you actually do each month, for example how you reconcile a bank statement or how you check TDS against Form 26AS. We will show how that runs in Fint and say plainly where it does not fit yet.

Questions

Does the AI ever put figures into my books by itself?

No. Anything the AI agent proposes is saved as a draft and is in no balance, report or GST return until a person confirms it in the Fint Inbox. The agent also cannot send invoices, record payments or change amounts.

Does Fint file GST returns on the GST portal?

No. Fint prepares GSTR-1 tables and a GSTR-3B summary from your records so the person filing has checked figures to work from. Reverse charge purchases and the input tax credit split are not computed in the GSTR-3B summary, and Fint says so on the summary rather than showing them as zero.

Can a CA firm use one login for many clients?

Yes. One login can hold several sets of books, and the client list shows receivables, overdue amounts, open queries and filing status for each one. GST is kept per book and never combined across books.

Can I try Fint without talking to anyone?

Not at the moment. Fint is free while it is in beta, but access starts with a demo: request one and an engineer will walk you through it on sample data.

We already use another accounting system. Can old invoices come across?

Invoices from another system can be brought in with their original numbers, and the agent can propose records from a spreadsheet in batches for you to confirm. Tell us what you use today when you request a demo and we will show what a move looks like.
